Royalty Payment Methods - Your Feedback Needed June 10, 2008

Hi SnapVillage Contributors -
Many of you have requested that we add royalty payment methods besides PayPal. We’ve heard from some that this is preventing them from signing up as they don’t live in a country supported by PayPal. Others have had issues with existing accounts, especially with PayPal’s restrictions on unverified foreign accounts.
This is frustrating for everyone - we’re working hard to increase sales and we want you to get paid! It’s quite clear - we need to offer other royalty payment methods.
We’re still in the process of evaluating our options, and want to make sure we add the tools that will work best for you. We’d like your feedback - what royalty payment system would you like to see on SnapVillage?
Some contributors have requested two payment methods specifically: Moneybookers and Payoneer. Here’s a quick rundown on these if you’re unfamiliar with them. Please take a look at the sites for each to get additional details such as local availability and transaction fees.
- Moneybookers works similarly to PayPal in most respects, but payments can be received in additional countries.
- Payoneer works through the use of a prepaid debit Mastercard. Funds would be loaded onto your card, which can then be used like any other credit card.
What do you think of Moneybookers? How about Payoneer?

I use Moneybookers all the time. Much better that paypal if you live outside the US. They have a better foreign currency exchange rate.
Hope you add them soon.
Moneybookers , I use them for 2 years and never had a single problem with them.
I have requested SnapVillage twice before to please add Moneybookers to their payment options since PayPal is not supported in my country. They replied that they have no immediate plans to do that, upon which I have deleted all my images. I cannot believe that it took SnapVillage this long to realize that they cannot hope to be a major player in Microstock with only PayPal as payment option. Long overdue in my opinion.

I am in Israel and I think the Payoneer card is realy great. I only have good thig to say about them.
I vote for Payoneer! Best for international users.

They are fast, cheap and reliable. All other micro agencies use them, so it’s easy to coordinate payments and to keep costs at a minimum.

A nice thing about Payoneer is that you get paid and then pull your cash out of the ATM the same day.
Moneybookers, as stated before better exchange rates and is cheaper the PayPal.

having Moneybookers is ABSOLUTHELY vital issue for all of us living outside Western Europe and America.
Payoneer would be a nice addition as well.
other vital thing is FTP upload. i have over 2500 images portfolio and over 100 models. making DVD with 100 folders for 100 models sounds pain. web upload of 2500 images, 5 at a time, sounds no less pain ;(

Definitely Moneybookers!! It works for 2 years without any problems. I’m afraid of using Paypal heard so many horror stories!
